Bellator 50 Results: Alexander Shlemenko taps out Zelg Galesic

Bellator 50 kicked-off the quarterfinal round of the promotion's Season 5 Middleweight Tournament tonight from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Bryan "The Beast" Baker scored a late TKO victory over Jared Hess in the headlining bout, while Brian Rogers defeated Victor O'Donnell via first-round stoppage in the co-main event. Season two tournament winner Alexander Shlemenko picked up his 41st professional victory, submitting Zelg Galesic in less than two-minutes and Vitor Vianna improved to 11-1 with a split-decision win over Sam Alvey.

All four Middleweights who emerged victorious will advance to the semifinal round, where they will go head to head at a later date for a spot in the Tournament Final and a chance to win the $100,000 cash prize.
