Bellator 40 Results: Ben Askren dominates Nick Thompson

Bellator 40 delivered an entertaining fight card from the First Council Casino in Newkirk, Oklahoma.  In the headlining bout, Welterweight Champion Ben Askren's dominant wrestling proved too much for Nick Thompson, as the champ picked up a comfortable unanimous decision victory.  Jay Heiron, meanwhile, earned a spot in the season 4 Welterweight tournament final, edging out Brent Weedman in the co-main event, while Michael Chandler advances to the Lightweight final after scoring a unanimous decision victory over previously unbeaten Lloyd Woodard.
