Vitor Belfort Claims All Fighters Are Cycling With Their Testosterone Levels

Even though several months have passed since they’ve fought, Vitor Belfort has decided to fire back at Chris Weidman.

Prior to their fight at UFC 187, it was revealed that Belfort had high testosterone levels, which led to Weidman commenting about it since Belfort was well known for using TRT, which is now a banned substance.

“I left him alone with this whole drug-test thing,” Weidman said after making weight. “But then we just found out during camp he had a 1200 testosterone score. I’m 10 years younger than him and he’s got a way higher testosterone level. This guy is still cheating. I’m gonna make him pay for it tomorrow night.”

Now, Belfort has taken a shot at Weidman for his comments.

“Did he stop cycling? Wasn’t him the one to stop cycling, because his testosterone was low? “

Belfort then went into his explanation.

“I was doing a treatment and paid the price,” Belfort told MMA Fighting. “But have you ever thought about it, or no? Nobody ever talked about it. My levels were normal, his levels were low. How a kid at his age has low testosterone?”

Belfort made the defense that every fighter was using banned substances while he was TRT.

“The reality is everybody was doing cycling, with their testosterones,” he said. “I didn’t hide anything. You all knew what I was doing, I was doing a treatment. And I still have the deficiency, I’m working with supplements and food. I have a life of sacrifice. I don’t have a normal social life. I won’t reveal my secret, and my doctor’s secret, but we have been using natural things to meet this demand.”

That is history and now Belfort has to prepare to fight Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night 77. On the other hand, Weidman fights Luke Rockhold at UFC 194 for the middleweight championship in the co-main event.
