At The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 Finale, two men walked inside the Octagon, but only one would walk out as the TUF 21 champion. Those two competitors were Kamaru Usman (6-1) and Hayder Hassan (6-2).

Going into the fight, Usman represented the Blackzilians, while Hassan represented American Top Team (ATT). The winner of the bout would not only win a TUF trophy, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, and a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), but he would also win $300,000 for his team.

Usman attempted a single leg takedown, but Hassan avoided it. The Blackzilians finalist forced Hassan’s back against the fence. He tripped Hassan, but the ATT finalist was able to roll out and escape the position. Usman went for a lunging punch that missed. They tied up and Usman pelted Hassan with a knee to the body. Usman dragged his opponent to the canvas. The Blackzilians standout gained control of Hassan’s back and hammered away.
