In perhaps the most anticipated mixed martial arts (MMA) bout in history, reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight title holder Jose Aldo (25-2) looked to make his eighth successful title defense. Standing in his way was interim 145-pound champion Conor McGregor (19-2).

The fight was over before anyone could blink.

McGregor landed a side kick to the leg. Aldo charged in and was knocked out cold with a left hand. In stunning fashion, “Notorious” won the undisputed featherweight championship in record time.

Final Result: Conor McGregor def. Jose Aldo via KO (Punch) – R1, 0:13

    LETS GO!
Both of my predictions were off for tonight. But I’m glad they were (minus the Weidman part)! Woo-hoo!
I can’t wait for the massive amount of salt from Aldo fans/Conor haters for the next few weeks.

White already said Edgar is next for the title shot, I bet with all the negative talk aldo has had about reebok, starting unions, etc he won’t get an immediate rematch. I still wish the fight would have about least gone to the 2nd round lol

    McGregor vs. RDA/Cerrone winner

    Jacare vs Weidman
