It's Showtime Aerts vs. Spong: The Dutch Lumberjack to retire on June 30th

This Saturday, June 30 in Forest National in Brussels, Belgium, Music Hall and BFN Group present an international kickboxing card: It's Showtime (Edition 57 & 58) featuring the retirement fight of kickboxing legend Peter Aerts. Aerts will step into the ring one last time against Tyrone Spong in the main event. Spong is coming off a recent victory against Melvin Manhoef on the same card where Badr Hari had his farewell bout, where Hari knocked out Gokhan Saki. The main card of Part 1 features the 70kg max world title fight between challenger Andy Souwer and the reigning champion Chris Ngimbi, as well.

The Complete Fight Card is as follows:
Part 2:
-Peter Aerts vs. Tyrone Spong
-Daniel Ghita vs. Dzevad Poturak
-Hafid El Boustati vs. Robin van Roosmalen
-Filip Verlidnen vs. Danyo Ilunga (95 kg MAX title)
-Fatih Ozkan vs. Sonny Dagraed
-Samir Djabba vs. Andy Ristie

Part 1:
-Andy Souwer vs. Chris Ngimbi (70 kg MAX title)
-Mourad Bouzidi vs. Rrustemi Kreshnik
-Hesdy Gerges vs. Rico Verhoeven
-Aziz Killah vs. Marat Grigorian
-Mandela Antone vs. Robbie Hageman
-Duoli Chen vs. TBA

    What a fight! Unfortunately I think the youthful Spong will be too much for Aerts at this point in his career but I hope he goes out like a warrior, just like he as his entire career!
