he was always a skinny lhw... it made sense for him to bulk up and thats what he did... it wasnt an overnight thing it took him a long time... he hasnt failed a drugs test... so who cares... he would have battered rodgers anyway...

@jizzle11- why have you got so many weaks? that was funny and jesus people, get a grip. you think he transformed his body from more weights and horse meat.. if people believe that they will believe anything. And im not saying its just him, cos it will be most just in different forms. Its harder to get caught than not. With no random drugs testing, these guys know how to make their systems clean in time for a test at a fight. look at the growth hormone, they say thats practically un detectable and it gives you large increases in speed and power. gsp must have that stuff on a drip. yeah yeah, all you naive people go click weak but its true.

oh and for the weak clickers im currently 14st 5. i train now and eat a certain amount of protein but what ill do is go on an intense year of eating horse meat(not steroids) and ill check out my before and after photos. i think ill end up at least 17st, stacked, ripped and possibly fighting for the ufc heavyweight title. Im sure it will work, it must do, look at the results on the reem!!

seriously, i was about to say something like it's cool that he finally found a deal getting endorsed for roids, but jizzle already beat me to it. this reminds me of a few months ago when I made a joke about a certain fighter about juicing, and I seriously got like 30 weaks along with all these fanboys defending him. the funny thing is that I was actually acquainted well enough with that person and the people he trains with to know that he was, in fact, juicing. it seems like everyone on here treats their favorite fighters like action figures, and when the possibility of one of their favorite man dolls losing any legitimacy comes up, they viciously hit the weak buttons and try to defend their "guy" haha

What drug test did he fail? I don't recall ever hearing that he failed one. Give the state of wide steroid use in MMA by everyone from Sherk to Carwin to Sonnen, I do not doubt that Alistar has done some at some point but I do think most of his development has been natural. He really did cut too much weight to be a light heavy for a frame of his size and got away with it (minus having good endurance) because of youth.

Also, if he was a heavy user in the past you would think that he would have the roid aggression that you seen in a Mark Coleman or Brock Lesnar. Instead he always seems to be a relatively calm man before and shortly after his fights.

wow...... for all of you out there that think that Alistair didn't use steroids go and watch his fight against Chuck Liddel and then watch any one of his recent fights. I don't care if he was running down lions on the African safari and eating them alive. Horse meat does not give you freakish bulk muscle like he has mysteriously obtained over the last few years. The human body can only bulk up so much inside it's natural frame unless you use a growth hormone that codes for rapid muscle and bone growth, which explains why Alistairs head is the size of a watermelon now.

I understand your point but you don know everyone is not the same in terms of being able to put on muscle, its proven by science. Some guys have the ability to get big while others dont. Look at half of the linemen in the NFL, or guys in the worlds strongest man competitions, genetics dictates how big you can get even with all the weights protein and supplements its reasonable to believe that alistair has great genes for bulking up

Thats why you carefully choose your events like Alistar and his management. Just so happens the ONLY Strikeforce event hes fought in in years was held in a no testing region. Thats probably because he hasn't been tested.

    Hey Jizzle11,

So what that a lot of people have called him Overroids since his development as a heavyweight. I'm not saying that he hasn't taken anything but I'm still asking you, or anyone, to name me one drug test that he has failed to date?

Alistar has fought in the States before, won the SF title and defended it. To date, no Commission has ever come out and tried to nail him like they have Sonnen, Barnett or the way they went after Sherk.

meat goes bad in 1-2 weeks usually, so either he has a big family or he eats a crap load of protein. Roids make u hungry i guess lol, kidding aside go Overeem, hope he beats Semi since Badr is out.

It always strikes me funny that we think other cultures are funny with their cultural food choices and yet we will strip the muscles off of cows, pigs and chickens and eat it. I like mine in a bun with cheese on it by the way.

I don't think Overeem has ever failed a drug test, but if u go back to when he became champ, he didn't fight in the US for what? 2 years? and in those 2 years when he was fighting in Japan and refused to come to the US is when he bulked up to be as big as he is. They don't test for roids in Japan, so he didn't get tested for the 2 years he was gone. So I understand why he didn't fail a drug test. It's impossible to fail them when u don't take them.

I'm just saying that he has fought in SF 1 time since returning. It's easy for someone to go through a cycle and still pass a test with flying colors. IMO he is cheating the system. Just wait and see. Either Overeem will fail a drug test sooner or later, or u will see a big change in his size and he will look like the Overeem of old. It's IMPOSSIBLE for someone to get that big in 6 months to a year. If it isn't impossible, then his upper body decided not to give his legs enough time in the gym.

I can't argue with your points GSPfan but ponder this...

His size increase happened over years, since he decided to stop weight cutting and move from LHW to HW. Even if some substance helped his development and he stopped taking it, he would still be far larger than he was in his LHW weight cutting days. Perhaps he did use some growth hormone and has since stopped using it? Also he was a younger man as a LHW and as many people get older, we tend to fill out more and not always in a bad way :P

Bottom line... I suspect some growth hormone but that he has since stopped taking it. I'm sure Brock Lesnar isn't taking roids like he used to but he's still a very big man... even though not the same size he was in the WWE.
