Really looking forward to both Dream 14 and 15
this seems like a good card expect for the overated mousasi that got beat by some chimp named king mo!!haha can you say got EXPOSED!
i say overeem will fight josh barnett
Yeah, Mousasi got so exposed by beating the crap out of a guy from the bottom. You are right Mousasi sucks. BTW, whether you mean it or not (and I will give you the benefit of doubt) any time you refer to a black person as any kind of ape or monkey it reeks of racism.
So he put a beating on King Mo off his back, even when he was not been himself in that fight and you still think is overrated?
The only reason King Mo won that fight is because in USA fighting organization ground control is consider in the score card other wise Gegard would of get W he deliver more damage and off his back...
yes I still think hes overrated....and there it is, cant have a forum on here without someone playin the race card
and "he was not been himself in that fight" what does that even mean and how does that keep him from being overrated? because he was taken out of his comfortzone and put on his back the whole fight? and guess I missed the part where king mo had the crap beat out of him while on top
who cares bottom line is he LOST.
But he looks like a chimp...... who are you, the niceness police?
If you say so.
Dream is getting better and better. Why?... you ask. Because they don't deal with exclusive contracts haha!!!! Nah I'm kidding. Love you guys.
I am glad you bring that up. Now how disappointed are you gonna be, how mad, how sick will you feel, after it finally looks like Overeem will fight Fedor, if Overeem gets injured fighting in Dream? How will that make you feel if the match gets pushed back? I mean god knows if it was to get pushed back for any extended period of time it would probably NEVER happen! Fedor's management would have an excuse to squirm out. The fans lose out, Scott Coker and SF lose a ton of money, and the sport suffers as we continue to debate top HW contention. Would that change your view on exclusive contracts?
Lets say I agree to put in a sprinkler system for client A on the week of August the 2nd and it is May the 22nd. In the interim I get another client who wants me to install a sprinkler system on July 5th. Lets say that the second client who wants the work done first has a yard that is full of sink holes or something I could get injured by. Should I turn down that job and the money that comes with it because I am previously contracted to do another job in the future? It can't be all about the employer (or the fans). The worker's needs must also be met. Most of these fighters don't make that much money. 30 or 40K (or even 100 + K for some top fighters) a fight may sound like a lot of money but that will only happen a couple of times a year for fighters with exclusive contracts and has to be spread out to coaches, nutritionists, personal trainers, hotel rooms and probably a bunch of shit I can't think of.
What if the moon falls on your face?
I mean he can get injured will training, or while he is buying groceries, If he wants to fight in Japan and make more money betwen fights who cares?...
Hahaha stickin I'm supposed to play devils advocate! Not you! Haha but as for your comment, I see your point. I would be angry! Like usual I guess. Fighters always suffer injuries that keep them out of fights. It seems like we are always waiting aren't we? We, the fans, are always talking about the next matchup we want to see. I just think without exclusive contracts, we would potentially see more of those matchups we want. I see the drawback you brought up but I think that hurts the organization more than it hurts us. If 2 guys want to fight, they will. If they were in 2 different organizations, they would have 2 organizations to get a deal done.
Thanks for being realistic in responding to my proposed scenario and not saying something stupid like "What if the moon fell" like thats even kinda a logical comparison. Furthermore an injury during training is called "assumption of risk" in business and is something else entirely!! Anyhow back to you Japanegro, you get what I am saying tho obviously, as I see your point as well. Just one of those situations I suppose.
If Melvin can learn to keep his hands up, he might end up being the most devastating striker in SF.
cant wait!
I love the Japanese!
