Josh Barnett holds an MMA record of 24 wins and 5 losses, he has notable wins over Pedro Rizzo, Gilbert Yvel, Antonio Nogueira, Randy Couture and many others, has recently signed with the Japanese promotion, Dream and will likely to make his Dream debut in March 22.

Barnett has not competed in MMA ever since his bout against Fedor Emelinanenko got cancelled because Barnett tested positive for banned subsitances and has had several delays in his hearings with with the California State Athletic Commission to deal with the positive test reults, and license deinal in the state.

Barnett will hope to bring his career back in line, and signing with Dream is certainly the right step in reviving his career. No official opponenet has been announced but, Dream is likely to announce Barnett's opponent later this week.

It's a shame that good fighters like Barnett and Overeem choose the route of steroids to improve their records instead of hard work and discipline in all area's of MMA. Your legacy means everything, especially in an individually competitive sport such as MMA. Poor bastards!

This idiot just missed his hearing for being caught a SECOND time using steroids. The dumbass was in japan professional wrestling and i quote "didn't know his presence was required." Did i mention it was delayed and appealed 4 times before that? and he was in talks with strikeforce... Americans only avoid fighting in america for two reasons. fame(less effort more payout.) or to hide.

The thing I never got wit Barnett is that he never had the body of someone on steroids, he always has and still does look normal.

like he's the only one on roids in Dream... so it's kinda fair. I'd like to see him fight Overeem.

Barnett isn't top 10 HW anymore and i don't think that the sport needs him to be back up there. he needs to stick to training new up and comers, he is a outstanding grappler. american MMA fighters who rely heavily on wrestling would be better off using catch wrestling like barnett rather than bjj. catch wrestling is where american amateur wrestling was derived from the submisson style fits a wrestler better than bjj.
