Barnett: If UFC make the right offer I'll stack skulls inside The Octagon

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett admitted on his Twitter account that if the Ultimate Fighting Championship would offer him a reasonable contract "he will stack skulls inside The Octagon". Barnett defeated Randy "The Natural" Couture at UFC 36, but was immediately stripped off his title after testing positive for a steroid use.

Barnett is looking to revive his career following the Affliction steroid scandal, by signing with the Japanese Dream FC promotion. "The Baby faced Assassin" will make his return to MMA on March 22nd at Dream.13, against a yet unnamed opponent. Barnett wrote the following response to one of his fans, who asked why he is not fighting someone who is at least in Top 20 Heavyweights list:

“Because it isn't up to me. What should I do, refuse to fight people unless they are in the top 10? F**k that, I'm here to kill all, or I'll not fight and not get paid. Sounds like a grand plan. You should be a manager.”

Dude just signed to Dream & he's thinking he has a chance of returning to the octogon? I doubt that.

Barnett is an excellent fighter, but I think his conditioning is questionable. Watch his 2 fights with Crocop, he was injured from stupid shit in both fights. Quitting in the middle of a fight due to an injury may fly in Japan, but UFC fans might start a riot.

he was controlling mirko in the first fight and his shoulder went outta socket. the same thing happend to sergie kharitonov against allistair overeem and allistair beat the piss out of him. barnett can be ranked high in the ufc and he would be very hard to beat.

The main thing that keeps Barnett from getting KO'd by mean strikers is his kicks and he keeps his distance and wears guys out. Being 7 feet tall and 160 doesnt hurt either lol

Didn't he have to juice to beat Couture though?

I believe the article above tells you the story about that.

No matter what... if you juice, you are cheating. Everyone trys to make an argument about it but there is no argument. Bonds... cheater, Barnett... cheater... Romanowski... cheater... every sport has their cheaters, this just goes to show that people think they can cheat and still look good to the public but I believe that if you use you are marked for life as a cheater to real fans like me.

I like guys like Couture, Faber, Silva, and yes I will say it, even Fedor because all these guys put effort into their trainging and fighting... they want to be better of course but not at the price of having that big black cloud over their heads!

If any of the guys I named cheat and I find out they did then they are immediatly off my list!

His reputation is tarnished by so many scandals...I doubt the UFC will allow any chance to fight with them. I have to admit, though, that he has a name in the sport. Strikeforce may take him...

I hope he can turn thing around and leave the steroids alone and regain some credibility, it may take a few fights, but if he sowed he could fight without steroids, he'd be back in the UFC. Dana likes a draw, and he would be a draw. Stop taking roids and get it together.

This guy is the primary reason Affliction folded with his positive steroid test...

He's lucky any promotion will sign him, Japan is a freak show so of corse they will take him.

Yeah, he a great fighter but he's always been a roid monster. It's kinda hard to give him any real credit. He beat Randy WAYYYY back in the day and tested positive then and just tested positive recently. He needs to stay in Japan where they don't test for it. I'd hate to see him in a great UFC match and rip off Lesnar's arm and beat him with it and have it tainted with roid use again.
